Brazil:

Brazil is rich in natural resources. This is reflected in the country's economic structure. Brazil's agricultural and mineral sector is one of the most important exporters of goods worldwide today. Brazil's export economy heavily depends on the agricultura l production of wood and soy. Also, the country is mining a significant amount of the world's iron ore and other minerals. Besides producing agricultural products and mining, Brazil has become a relevant energy player. Using its natural gas and cru de oil resources, energy exports have grown in the past two decades (Bound 2008, Brainard & Martinez Martinez-Diaz 2009, Worldbank 2023a), as Brazil is South America's South America's largest economy. Thus, its domestic market has also consistently grown in relevance. Unlike China, Brazil does not have robust technology manufacturing and development. Coupled with increasing ecological standards, Brazil's economy faces future challenges.
